About Community Service

This is a great opportunity to tie in your research or teaching to events or initiatives going on in the surrounding communities. Many faculty have found that engaging in community service related to their research or teaching has led to opportunities for further research (and funding for that research!) or the creation of community-based service learning courses for their students. In addition, you'll get to meet many great people who help to shape the San Fernando Valley that CSUN calls home.
