Welcome to our web page! You can use this page to learn what is going on with the Industrial Mathematics Group, to communicate with students and faculty related to applying mathematics in industrial careers.

This project is only a pilot and we have a log of growing to do. Join us and let us share ideas for the purpose of applying mathematics in the real world!

There are several goals that we see for us.

1. We recognize that there is a shortage of resources to help math majors prepare for employment in industry. It is therefore our goal to develop a comprehensive preparation program that will include internship opportunities, help in job search, help with designing the personal education program to target desired jobs.
2. We recognize that applied mathematical research is essential for progress in mathematics as a field. It is therefore our goal to foster applied research by reaching out to industrial partners, strengthening existing collaborations and building new. Student involvement in applied research is integral component of our vision. 
3. We recognize that world around us is changing very rapidly bringing new challenges but also new opportunities. Therefore it is our goal to learn from each other, to adopt and adapt, and to keep moving forward.
4. We recognize that people is the most valuable capital! Therefore it is our goal to keep open door policy and to empower all members of Industrial Mathematics Group to make all ideas possible. We recognize that the our projects and activities are designed, powered, and conducted by the group members. We welcome creativity and entrepreneurship!
