The Master of Science in Kinesiology
The Department of Kinesiology at California State University, Northridge offers a graduate program, leading to the development of scholars, future leaders, and educators in Kinesiology. The graduate program includes academic as well as practical experiences in the student's chosen area of study within the field of Kinesiology. Applications are accepted for both Fall and Spring admissions.
Our department has a valued faculty committed to assisting students in their professional preparation for an advanced degree. Over 15 faculty members whose research interests span the spectrum of Kinesiology mentor students in our program. * Students may select elective courses in one of the Kinesiology subdisciplines listed above to focus their studies, or may develop an individualized program including electives from more than one Kinesiology subdiscipline (in consultation with an advisor). The culminating experience may consist of a Thesis or Professional Project.
