International Applicants
International applicants should visit the following website, http://www.csun.edu/admissions-records/international, and contact the International Admissions Office directly at international.recruitment@csun.edu.
Please note that the KINESIOLOGY MS program is NOT a STEM program (as determined by the Department of Homeland Security) and does not support CPT and OPT experiences in Physical Therapy. Another thing to keep in mind is that CSUN is a comprehensive university that does not grant doctoral degrees. While we do offer teaching assistantships (hourly pay without a tuition stipend), we cannot offer the financial support for international graduate students that PhD granting universities can offer. What this means, unfortunately, is that you will have to pay your own tuition and support yourself financially while you are at CSUN. https://www.csun.edu/international/scholarship-opportunities-international-students is a link to the scholarships that are available to international students.
Currently, the minimum TOEFL scores accepted are: Paper-based test – 550; Computer-based test – 213; Internet-based test – 80. The minimum IELTS score is 6.5
