Two families, the Montagues and Capulets, have been locked in a bitter feud for years. But when Romeo Montague crashes a Capulet party with his friends, he meets Juliet, the Capulets' daughter, and falls hopelessly in love. Torn between their families' hatred and their own powerful connection, Romeo and Juliet embark on a secret romance. Will their love conquer the divide, or will they be swept up in the violence of their families' bloody rivalry?

*****Romeo & Juliet will start rehearsal before the Spring semester begins, on January 6th, 2025. Students MUST be available for ALL rehearsal dates. Students MUST enroll in TH 384 TR 9:30 AM - 12:15 PM, as there will be rehearsal and performances during those times*****

Audition Requirements

Please Prepare a 1 minute monologue from any play.

Callbacks

For call backs, you will be auditioning in small group sessions.

Please bring in a speech from Shakespeare of your choosing, about two minutes long at most. You do not need to have it memorized (although it can be), but you do need to be familiar with it.

Also, please wear comfortable movement clothes.
