Finding Scholarly Resources
Where to get started?
Search through the Library! Try using a general multi-subject database such as Academic Search Premier to access to current, full-text peer-reviewed articles.
- Go through the Library to access Academic Search Premier
- Make sure to refine your search results (on the left hand side) to narrow your search to articles that fit your research need.
- Select the title to open the full text and find the tools section to download the PDF and get the citation information.
1. Use your keywords in separate boxes to search for articles on your topic:
voting or election
and
racism or discrimination
and
united states
Use the limiters on the left hand side to narrow your search by:

- scholarly articles
- publication date: 2015-2020

2. Once you narrow your search and find an article you want to read, select the title.

- Look for the tools section where you can download the article, print, email, and get the citation information.
