How are you doing with all this information?
Remember: if you're feeling overwhelmed, stop and take a break. The information will become relevant and even urgent to you at different moments this year. We know you may not be able to truly absorb everything. The goal is to be familiar enough with this content so you'll know where to revisit it later.
Again, these pausing activities can also be a way to implement a teaching strategy called Classroom Assessment Techniques. This is when you stop and ask questions to gauge how well the material is being learned and adjust the course based on that feedback.
Let's try a few questions. Keep in mind, all of these Let's Pause & Check-In questions are optional. But your responses will provide us useful feedback that we can use to adjust this Canvas site as we go along this year.
