Bloom's Taxonomy Pyramid
Bloom's Taxonomy is equally segmented into 6 sections ordering the levels of human cognitive processing from highest to lowest. The highest, first tip is Create: Produce new or original work; Design, assemble, construct, conjecture, develop, formulate, author, investigate. Second is Evaluate: Justifying a stand or decision; Appraise, argue, defend, judge, select, support, value, critique, weigh. Third is Analyze: Draw connections among ideas; Differentiate, organize, relate, compare, contrast, distinguish, examine, experiment, question, test. Fourth is Apply: Use information in new situations; Execute, implement, solve, use, demonstrate, interpret, operate, schedule, sketch. Fifth is Understand: Explain ideas or concepts; Classify, describe, discuss, explain, identify, locate, recognize, report, select, translate. And sixth, forming the bottom or base of the pyramid and representing the lowest order, is Remember: Recall facts and basic concepts; Define, duplicate, list, memorize, repeat, state.
